Greg Lutzka’s Big Year

E365 -- There’s a lot going on under that fedora: Greg Lutzka has had a tremendous year, and he’s just getting started. Over the last few months Lutzka has placed in the top 4 at every stop on the 2008 AST Dew Tour, including a 2nd place finish at the Wendy’s Invitational and a 4th at the Toyota Challenge. He’s currently in 4th place overall and will look to make a run for the Dew Cup at the final stop in Orlando.

E365 -- Until now there were few legal options to get to the waves at Point Mugu: Befriend someone in the military who doesn't mind escorting you to the beach when the waves are good, boating in, or enlisting in the Navy. 

BMX, Skate Pros Go Huge in Cincinnati

E365 -- The Action Sports World Tour blew up Cincinnati over the weekend with an explosive mix of BMX and skateboarding competitions, with Rob Darden, Pierre-Luc Gagnon, and Jamie Bestwick taking the wins in their individual disciplines.

E365 -- It's been widely rumoured that AMA Supercross Champion James Stewart would be signing with a new team following this year's Motocross of Nations and the 2008 season, and at a press conference held in Hollywood, California, on Friday, Stewart officially announced that he would be joining the L&M Racing team.

Wakeboarder Jumps 50 Foot Ramp-To-Ramp Gap

E365 -- Wakeboarder Kyle Alberts, 19, was only supposed to clear the 50 foot ramp-to-ramp jump over a 40 foot bus on a wakeboard at Wall Street Plaza in downtown Orlando, which he did - twice. But on his third attempt, the '2008 Pro Tour Rookie of the Year' stuck the record breaking jump while spinning 540 degrees off axis on his wakeboard. 

2008 ASP European Pro Junior Champs Crowned

E365 -- With the cancellation of this year’s last event in Portugal, Maxime Huscenot and Alizee Arnaud officially became the 2008 ASP European Junior Champions respectively in the male and female divisions, clinching their maiden regional crowns after a very consistent season.
