BMX Supercross WC: Men's Winner Gets Thrashed By Girl

E365 -- Forget what we said yesterday about the USA cleaning up at the 2007 UCI BMX World Supercross Champs. Sure, Donny Robinson of the USA won the men's event yesterday, but women's winner Shanaze Reade of Britain kicked his rectum in time trial!

A world champion, Reade won the event with just 36.923 seconds on the clock to pump the event up to terminal velocity and throw some seriously British vibes onto the podium.

They reckon the course is the hardest in the world, with jumps, twists and turns having been specially crafted for the Olympic Games.

Silver went to Frenchwoman Anne Caroline Chausson (38.043 sec) and bronze to teammate Laetitia Le Corguille (38.203).

MEN'S

In the men's division, the USA continued their undisputed domination as Donny Robinson lead from beginning to end. The American BMX superstar clocked 36.949 seconds to win the gold, meaning that he would have lost to a girl if they'd been racing together. Robert De Wilde took second (37.134), while Aussie Jared Graves (37.371) took third.
